    Excellent 1080p HDR projector.
Picture quality is excellent. Main use is for my golf simulator and colors tint sharpness are all excellent. The optoma website is a bit deceiving. They highlight 4k, but make sure to read the fine details. It is not a 4k output projector. It is a 1080p output with a 4k input. The reason behind this is that 4k carries a HDR signal. So if you want a 1080p HDR projector, this is the one for you. Setup was easy and image shift is versatile. It has horizontal and vertical shifts. It has horizontal and vertical keystone. It has 4 corner keystone. It has it all. One thing I don't like is their digital shift. It has a big jump. Epson has manual zoom and you can slowly turn it to get the exact zoom you want. I was in between -4 and -5 zoom. So I had to set it at -4 and then stretch out the corners with 4 corner keystone. I didn't want to do that because image is slightly distorted. Another thing I like, this is a whisper quiet projector. Practically silent.

    Amazon Drug Mule
1.0 out of 5 stars Worked for 10 min!
Reviewed in Canada on October 15, 2021
It worked for 10 min, then the contrast, sharpness, and colour crapped out. Did a factory reset several times, changed new monster 4K UHD 60Hz premium cables, etc, etc. The same feed was sent to both the projector and 3 year old $1000 LG OLED tv simultaneously so you can see how bad the contrast, colour tint, and sharpness is. Called Optima tech support, and they were useless. They said to send the tv for repair. It’s 2 days old, so NO! Returned and bought a BENQ for half the price. It’s not a laser projector, but has all the same specs.

Optima, for the price of that premium projector, I’d expect better customer service, like …. sending a replacement ASAP, rather than saying there was nothing you can do.
