General purpose · AWS Graviton2 Processor
The t4g series is a general purpose EC2 line running on AWS Graviton2. It has 7 sizes, from the t4g.nano with 2 vCPUs and 0.5 GiB to the t4g.2xlarge with 8 vCPUs and 32 GiB, and it is compute-heavy with a median of 2.0 GiB per vCPU.
In US East the Linux on-demand price runs from $0.00420/hour to $0.2688/hour, or $3.07 to $196 a month. The median price per vCPU-hour across the series is $0.0168. These are Arm (Graviton) instances, which need arm64 builds of your software.
Price per vCPU-hour is not flat across the series: the t4g.nano is the cheapest per vCPU at $0.00210 and the t4g.large the dearest at $0.0336, a 1500% gap, so the size you choose changes your unit cost as well as your total.
